'Exquisite Clones' exhibition at The Gradient Orchid cafe in Taipei
September 2022 in association with The Bridge Arts - https://tba.tw/artist/1097
instagram@the.bridge.art, curated by Mia at L'atelier M.

80% of all orchids are now cloned, allowing more of us to keep and cosset these strangely voluptuous, gorgeous living things - and in my to case paint them. My original orchid studies were done using acrylic paint on Fabriano paper and for the Orchid cafe they will be printed on canvas.
Complementing the orchids are a set of smaller works called 'Painted Perfumes'. Perfumes and smells evoke memories, places, people, these are painted images of natural elements such as the weather or clouds bottled like perfume. Originally painted in acrylic on paper these works will also be printed on canvas.
Left to right Painted Perfumes:
01. Constable clouds, 02.Stormy skies, 03.Spanish sky, 04. Raining in my heart, 05. A puff of wind, 06. Bottled moon
