Walking alone at night, being safe and protecting yourself. I carry keys bunched in a particular fashion in my fist which I keep rigid. Others carry alarms, pepper spray and, of course, phones with alarm apps. But what if we were not so polite? After all, we must be expecting violence to take these precautions. What if I replaced the keys with a hammer or a chainsaw, if I crossed that thin line. I asked women I know to send me an image of themselves and their weapon of choice - thanks to them all.
